We support each participant’s unique talents and goals, individually and as a group. After the program, graduates launch communities across Ukraine, engaging 20–250 people through high-impact projects.
GLOWME: Community for Girls
Created by Yelyzaveta Bobrovytska, Sofia Koval, Kateryna Salieva, Olga Syrotiuk, Sofia Kartashova, and Olga Novak, GLOWME is an online community where girls and young women grow skills, share opportunities, and support each other across topics like English, SMM, design, travel, and photography.
Repro Military
Repro Military was created by Sofia Rubel (Founder), Liana Lichtenwald (lawyer & grant manager), and Veronika Anisimova (SMM & community manager) to support military personnel and their partners with clear, stigma-free guidance on reproductive health and rights.
Leader’s Code
Leader’s Code is a youth-focused leadership project created by Anna Zinenko, Maryna Skriabina, Lubov Krotova, and Polina Ovdak. Through workshops and speaking clubs, they help teens build confidence and discover that leadership is about choices, responsibility, and everyday action.
History of the Chevron
After graduating from the See Forward Ukraine program, Marharyta Vovchok, Alina Sheibokas, Yana Kliainfeld, Uliana Chumak, Milena Hryshko, and Alisa Kharchenko created “History of the Chevron,” turning Ukrainian military insignia into living stories of brigades and the people behind them.
Opportunity Fair
After graduating from See Forward Ukraine 2024, Elizabeth Taran and Adelina Diakova from Dnipro Polytechnic Institute organized “Opportunity Fair,” a networking event connecting students with partner organizations for mentorship, internships, and future pathways in civic, youth, and non-profit sectors.
“Green Mission”, an ecology-centered board game
Following the program, Margarita Shatkovska, Anastasia Kashlikouova, Olha Bondareva, Valeria Hladka, and Nika Zayats began designing “Green Mission,” a board game prototype that makes environmental topics engaging, helping players learn responsibility and practical ways to reduce negative impact.
“Feel, Fulfill and Lift Up”
This Telegram channel was created by See Forward graduates — Bohdana Hura, Kateryna Neumvyako, Karyna Stukhonog, Sophia Belenchuk, and Solomiya Lukuovska — to offer active peer support for Ukrainian girls and women through shared experiences, encouragement, and community events.
A national debate on the topics of criminal law
Hosted by Maria Shevchuk, this national debate on criminal law brought together competing teams and dozens of attendees, turning learning into action and community. Part of the funds raised were donated to the family of a fellow law student, killed in action.
Open-access epidemiology and virology podcast
This open-access podcast, hosted by Anastasia Kashlikouova, invites young Ukrainian science students to join monthly lectures with speakers from the international scientific community, making high-quality learning more accessible and helping students feel connected to a wider world of research.

Sofiia Katolyk
Graduated in 2025
Sofiia (21) has been internally displaced since 2022 and creates stunning handmade mosaics through her project, “Healing Glass.” She collects crushed, colored glass and gives it new life as unique works of art.
Dedicated to internally displaced communities, she leads masterclasses on restoring inner harmony by assembling tiny fragments into a complete mosaic shaped by each person’s vision.
Recently, Sofiia won a national Ukrainian grant for arts and social work, giving her initial funding to open her first shop for custom-designed mosaics.

Olha Stepanova
Graduated in 2025
Another graduate of the See Forward (SFU) 2025 cohort, Olha Stepanova (22), was accepted into the Wharton Business School MBA program with full support.
In Ukraine, Olha is part of a team at a glass-producing company, where she has taken on grant writing and successfully secured major funding to help her company grow. Olha came to the SFU 2025 program with many aspirations, but also questions about the best path forward.
Now she not only has a stable job, but also the opportunity to continue her studies abroad if she chooses.

Liubov Krotova
Graduated in 2025
Liubov (24), an internally displaced person since 2023, now pursues her PhD in Epidemiology.
In addition to her postgraduate research, she launched free classes where she teaches biology and chemistry to high school freshmen students from the IDP community in the Kyiv Region.

Margarita Shatkovska
Graduated in 2024
Margarita pursued her newfound interest in AI following one of the program’s presentations and participated in the IT hackathon (Ukraine). She also began volunteering at the Nezabutni [‘Unforgettable’] Charitable Foundation memory café for older people with dementia.

Bohdana Hura
Graduated in 2024
Bohdana started a job working with internally displaced parents and children at an after-school program in a local school in Lviv, Ukraine.

Karyna Stukhonog
Graduated in 2024
Karyna completed her physical therapy training and started teaching stretching exercises classes, 18 online for maximum outreach. Because of it, she was invited into a professional rehabilitation and recovery program for Ukrainian soldiers returning from the front lines with musculoskeletal injuries.

Sophia Belenchuk
Graduated in 2024
Sophia inspired by her work with the Program’s psychologist, changed her university major to Psychology and Linguistics and began a part-time job supporting internally displaced families.

Kateryna Neumyvako
Graduated in 2024
Kateryna started an internship in human psychology and AI, encouraged by a conversation with one of the mentors about AI and mental health.

Adelina works as a Professional of Innovation Activities at "Dotyk" Municipal Enterprise of Dnipro City Council.
